The Academy at Tara Yoga & Healing Arts has always been a place where ancient wisdom meets modern mastery. Now that wisdom reaches beyond the walls of our Pasadena studio — so students worldwide can access the same depth of training that our in-person community has always known.

Available Online Programs

200 & 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT)

Our yoga teacher trainings are designed to take you far beyond asana. You will explore yoga philosophy, Sanskrit, Bhakti and devotional practice, anatomy of the subtle body, trauma-informed teaching, and yoga as medicine. Both our 200-hour and 300-hour programs are available online — with live sessions, recordings, and one-on-one mentorship with Tara.

3-Module Advanced Training: Yoga as an Energetic & Healing Practice

This is Tara's most advanced and immersive training — a deep dive into yoga's healing dimensions that goes far beyond what any standard YTT covers. This program is available both virtually and in-person, with flexible attendance to suit your life.

• Module 1: Energetics of Yoga & Subtle Anatomy — January to April 2026

• Module 2: Vibrational Healing, Sound & Somatics — May to August 2026

• Module 3: Applied Integration & Sequence Crafting — September to November 2026

Each module is $1,610. An Early Bird discount of $350 is available when you register by January 1, 2026. A $300 deposit secures your spot.

Reiki Certifications — Levels I, II, and Master Teacher

Tara is a Reiki Master Trainer with decades of experience initiating students into the Usui lineage. Her Reiki certifications cover all three levels — from Reiki I (personal practice and self-healing) through Reiki II (distance healing and formal practice) to Reiki Master Teacher (the ability to attune and train others). All levels are available online, with live attunements, practice sessions, and Tara's direct guidance.

Coaching Certifications

For students called to integrate intuitive and spiritual coaching into their work with others, Tara's coaching certification programs offer a rigorous and deeply personal training path — all available online.
